About Allevia Tablets
Allevia one-a-day hay fever tablets provide fast-acting 24-hour relief from symptoms associated with hay fever, including sneezing, an itchy, runny or blocked nose, and itchy, watery or red eyes. Hay fever is an allergic reaction to pollen (a fine powder produced by plants) that typically occurs when it comes into contact with the nose, eyes, mouth or throat.
Directions
What are Allevia Tablets used for?
Allevia antihistamine tablets are used to relieve the symptoms of hay fever (also referred to as seasonal allergic rhinitis), which include sneezing and coughing, a blocked or runny nose, red, watery or itchy eyes, and an itchy throat, mouth, nose or ears. The one-a-day tablets provide round-the-clock relief from the most common symptoms of hay fever, even on days with high pollen counts.
How do Allevia Tablets work?
Allevia’s prescription-strength hay fever relief medication contains the active ingredient of fexofenadine hydrochloride, a non-drowsy antihistamine. Fexofenadine hydrochloride blocks the effects of histamine (a natural substance in the body that causes allergy symptoms), which helps to relieve the symptoms of hay fever.
Allevia hay fever tablets get to work within one hour and provide relief from hay fever symptoms for up to 24 hours.
