Andy Boysan
Andy grew up in Sheffield and studied Pharmacy at the University of Bath. After qualifying he moved to Bristol, where he gained experience as a community pharmacist before moving to New Zealand in 2006. He returned to the UK and joined Lloydspharmacy in late 2007 as a branch manager, rising to the role of Area Manager for Oxford, and later for Bournemouth. Andy met Scott working at Lloydspharmacy and together they set up The Independent Pharmacy in 2013. He is the Superintendent Pharmacist of the pharmacy as well as the nominated person for the CQC.
Andy lives in Bristol with his wife and two young children. In his spare time, he plays backgammon and is currently nationally-ranked. He’s won local and national events - the most recent being the triple-team event in the Blackpool Imperial Cup.
I set up The Independent Pharmacy to give me the freedom put the focus back on our patient's wellbeing.
