Piriteze Allergy Relief Syrup information
What is Piriteze Syrup used for?
Piriteze Syrup is used to treat the allergic symptoms of hay fever (such as itchy or watery eyes, coughing, congestion, sneezing and a blocked or runny nose) and other allergies, such as skin allergies, pet allergies or hives. It is specially formulated as a kids’ antihistamine, meaning it’s suitable for little allergy sufferers aged 6 and over.
How does Piriteze Syrup work?
Piriteze Liquid contains an antihistamine called cetirizine hydrochloride. Antihistamines work by blocking the effects of a substance called histamine that produces the unpleasant symptoms experienced by allergy sufferers. Taking Piriteze Syrup once or twice daily (see below for dosage recommendations) will block the release of histamine and alleviate allergy symptoms such as sneezing, a runny nose, or watery eyes.
