We’ve all had to deal with an uncomfortable bout of trapped wind at some point in our lives. Triggers can vary from person to person, but common causes include eating a meal too quickly or drinking many fizzy drinks over a short span of time. Bloating, stomach cramps, and the sensation of fullness are just a few symptoms that may accompany trapped wind.
While it may not be the most polite thing to do, the best way to deal with these symptoms is usually to release the gas through burps, flatulence, and/or toilet use. However, if your symptoms are particularly persistent, trapped wind medication can offer relief.
