Zerobase Cream Information
What is Zerobase Cream?
Zerobase Cream is an emollient that is available on prescription and over-the-counter to help moisturise and soften the skin. It can be applied regularly as a moisturiser as well as being used before bathing to lock in moisture.
Zerobase Cream is an emollient, which means it works by forming a protective barrier over your skin. The barrier of Zerobase keeps water locked into the skin, preventing it from drying out and allowing it to heal. The barrier also helps to protect raw areas of skin from irritants, such as harsh soaps or detergents, helping to prevent your skin becoming more irritated as it heals.
Zerobase cream is manufactured by Thornton & Ross and is available in 50g & 500g pack sizes. Zerobase cream can be used by adults and children of all ages. Zerobase is a white opaque cream that is highly absorbent and non-greasy.
How to apply Zerobase emollient cream
- Zerobase cream should be applied regularly. For people who suffer from dry skin conditions, this normally means three to four applications daily.
- Apply the cream directly to the skin, following the direction of hair growth.
- Do not apply any other creams, ointments, or gels to the skin until Zerobase has absorbed fully.
